When these needs go unmet, we experience emotional pain that effect our thinking and how we act. This emotional pain can lead to a negative pattern that effects how you behave and how you relate to yourself, your family and other important relationships.
There are many different reasons people seek counselling. For some it is to work on improving their marriage and other relationships. Some seek counselling because of transitions in their life that leave them feeling unsettled, confused or stuck. Others want relief from anxiety, depression, stress, anger or grief. And some want to heal from painful experiences, both current or in their past.
Feeling a sense of safety and security within our selves and in our relationships comes with healthy connections. Negative cycles and patterns can be stopped. I am a licensed and registered professional counsellor and psychotherapist, working together, I help you explore your struggles and to create the change you want to see.
